Bible Reading :Matthew 25: 1-12

Bible Akenkan: Mateo 25: 1-12

ENGLISH

Although Christendom is seen as one body of Christ, the Messiah’s parable clearly showed that not all Christians are resolutely and faithfully awaiting the second coming of Christ Jesus. The parable divides those looking forward to the second coming of Messiah into two groups. One of the groups stands for wise people, while the other group represents fools. Why some were wise and others fools? Matthew 7:24-26 explains that everyone who hears these sayings of mine (Messiah) and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. But everyone hearing these sayings of mine and not doing them is like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.

In Matthew chapter 25, the parable talks about ten virgins. Of which five of the were wise and the other five being fools. Let us read the parable in Matthew 25.

What does the illustration mean?

The ten virgins represent the purest such person in God’s creation. The oil that the wise virgins prepared represents their unwavering faith in the second coming of the Messiah. The lamp represents the good works of people, regardless of time or circumstances.

The Bridegroom is the Messiah. Five foolish virgins” refers to a minister, because they are of service to Me. They pursue only unessary things (because they do not have My nature, whatever they do is an unessary thing), and they cannot be My effective helpers, so they are called “foolish virgins

Five wise virgins” represent God's people who strongly believe the second coming of the Messiah. They are always on the look out and prepared to meet Christ.

Preparing yourself for the coming of Messiah means that one needs to be prayerful at all time, have unflinching faith, and being holy (Luke 12:35, 1 Tessalonians 5:6, 1 Peter 5:8, Matthew 24 : 42).

People may perform church activies but may lack these qualities: prayerfilness, unflinching faith and holiness. Without these qualities one is not prepared to meet the Messiah.
